2015 Open Minds CA MBPI Recap!
September 1, 2015, Norfolk, VA –Welligent attended the Open Minds CA Management Best Practices Institute (MBPI) on August 26th and 27th this year in San Diego, California. Several Welligent staff attended the conference including: Andy Mccraw – Welligent President, Barbara Klear – Director of Quality Assusance, Janet Fisher – Account Manager, and Scott Borisoff – Senior Account Executive. They had the privilege of meeting with some of our current users from EMQ FamiliesFirst, Healthright 360, LA Child Guidance Center, and Olive Crest Treatment Centers.
Our face-to-face interactions with our clients and attendees seeking new EHR solutions are important to us. The Welligent staff enjoyed seeing some of our current users at the conference. We truly value customer feedback and input because it helps Welligent grow and improve our overall service delivery. So thank you for stopping by our booth and speaking with us at the show!
The MBPI hosted over 260 registrants. The conference was held at the lovely Marriott Mission Valley Hotel. Welligent’s booth exhibit offered attendees the opportunity to test out our cloud EHR mobile apps on both iPhones and iPads! If you’re not an Apple user, fear not because Android apps are coming soon! If you didn’t get a chance to interact with our staff and mobile apps at the conference, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will set up a demo of our EHR system. If you haven’t already, check out our white paper on Mobile Applications in Community-Based Mental Health.
In addition to exhibiting at the MBPI, Welligent sponsored a learning session: Preparing for ICD-10 from the California Provider’s Perspective. The session drew about 50 attendees and lasted an hour and 15 minutes. Several behavioral healthcare experts led the session including: Barbara Klear – Welligent Director of QA, Lisette Wright – Executive Director of Behavioral Health Solutions and BeCoDoc, LLC., and Rachael Clausen – EMQ FamiliesFirst Director of IT. The session was a great success and informed attendees about: understanding the context of the ICD-10 transition, identifying implementation tasks that go into effect October 1, 2015, identifying CA and county-specific issues, and understanding how Welligent customers are preparing.
