Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)

Welligent, a growing SaaS-based national provider of EHR software and services for behavioral healthcare, is looking for a skilled, mid-level Oracle DBA (11g, Solaris, Linux) to manage and maintain its database and application server environment. In this position, you will report directly to our CIO to manage enterprise-level databases, disaster recovery backup solutions, application server, and applications in our data center environments. Responsibilities include providing technical support for the database environment, such as overseeing the development and organization of the databases, assessment and implementation of new technologies, troubleshooting, documenting, and supporting database systems. Working closely with senior management, programmers, and our project managers, great oral and written communication skills are a must. You must possess strong Oracle skills. You should be well versed in disaster recovery protocols, 24/7 support, along with strong RMAN, Apache HTTP server, Solaris/Unix, Linux, and Windows skill sets. This position requires initiative and the ability to remain flexible and responsive in a very dynamic environment. In addition, system administration experience is strongly desired.
